Ina S. Townsen is an illustrator from San Diego, CA. Currently residing in Denver, CO, she is completing her BFA degree in Illustration at RMCAD (Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design). Ina's artwork is often described as dark, detail-oriented, and moody. Pulling from the conceptualism of the Dada and Surrealism movement, and the stylisation of the Pictorialist photographers, Ina's work combines these traits with her illustration and fine arts background elegantly. Largely inspired by the German Expressionist film movement of the 1920's, her work consistently explores the edges of the human psyche.
